Dear colleages and judges, good afternoon everyone. My name is Zhao Hang, a new employee of CPPE this year. My topic today is about spirit, and I titled it “Let the Spirit Pass On.”

Fifty years, it’s enough time to harvest wheat for more than fifty times and to grow the trees to reach the sky.

Fifty years, it’s enough time to fill the roads with traffic streams and to build a marvelous pipeline network all over our country.

On the way forward, it’s our footprints that define the wonder of life and the shape of history.

So, let’s pay our honors to our predecessors, to those who actively participated in the pipeline construction. They fought in the distant unmanned area, crossed the grand canyon, conquered the mighty water, withstood the extreme coldness, sincerely dedicating and delivering dozens of qualified achievements to the company.

Let’s pay our honors to the youth, to those who shine with brilliance. Today’s pipeline worker, copying the image of the pioneer, fearlessly sweat in the hot desert; battled in the freezing permafrost; and hold their positions of day and night. Although lacking in experience, they have proven that our workers in the new era are excellent and able to take great responsibility.

Let’s pay our honors to the future, to us, to all that there is, will be and has yet to come. It’s full of possibilities, as we possess the company’s fifty-year precious treasure. All of the knowledge, skills, insights, without holding back, have already been given to us. That’s why we shall inherit their spirit and we shall not let them down.

Fifty years, just two words with ten letters. But it contains miracles that we, our people achieved. Finally let me end my speech with the last sentence: “No one can be young forever, but there are always people marching forward as our spirit passes on.”

在這次旅行中，是我們腳下走過的道路定義了生命的美好和歷史的樣子。

因此，讓我們向積極參與管道建設(shè)的前輩們致敬。他們在遙遠的無人區(qū)戰(zhàn)斗，穿過險峻的峽谷，征服洶涌的洪流，忍受著極度的寒冷。獻出生命，給公司一個滿意的答案。

讓我們向既有智慧又有勇氣的年輕人致敬。今天，管道建設(shè)者模仿祖先的樣子，在沙漠的熱浪中流汗，在凍土的寒冷中頑強抵抗。他們?nèi)找箠^戰(zhàn)。即使他們沒有經(jīng)驗，他們也證明了我們新時代的管道人可以承擔重任。
