Distinguished Guests, Honorable Judges and my fellow friends, good afternoon!

I am Qiu Baojie from CPPMEC, Material and Equipment Company, and I am very pleased and lucky to be here in the final, and I hope you enjoy what I am going to deliver next.

42, this is my age. Someone asked me, when I decided to join this English contest,“Why? Why do you still want to compete with all these youngsters in your 40s’”.Without much hesitation, I replied, with a smile, “It’s never too old to learn”.Yes, age is only a figure, and the spirit is still in my heart.

I joined CPPMEC 20 years ago and stayed ever since. In these 20 years, quite often, I had been asked:”What has made you stay here for such a long time?” Without much hesitation, I replied, with a smile, “The company has fed me, trained me, and helped me grow from an innocent student to a project procurement manager. It is time for me to return the favor. “

In these 20 years, CPPMEC has grown from scratch, expanded its business from home to overseas. Now CPPMEC has 4 major businesses: Project Procurement Service, Trading, Tendering Service and Warehousing Service. And, most of all, CPPMEC has always secured supplies of materials and equipment for CPP’s projects.

From Pipeline and beyond Pipeline. This year marks the 50th anniversary of CPP, and it is also a year of transformation from traditional fossil fuel to greener new energies. The market is changing so fast and little time is left for us to adapt. Luckily, we have taken solid steps in CCUS, LNG, H2, and photovoltaic businesses. There will be more opportunities in the years ahead. At the end of my speech, I’d like to call for all CPP staff, let us stand together to face the challenges and difficulties, and we will see a brighter future soon！

42，這是我的年齡。當(dāng)我打算參加這場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)比賽時(shí)，有人問(wèn)我為什么。為什么40多歲還想和這群年輕人競(jìng)爭(zhēng)？沒(méi)有太多猶豫，我笑著回答:“努力學(xué)習(xí)到白頭偕老?！?是啊，年齡只是一個(gè)數(shù)字。心中的愛(ài)是我前進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。

20年前，我加入了管道安裝公司，一直呆著。在過(guò)去的20年里，人們經(jīng)常問(wèn)我:“是什么吸引你在這里呆了這么久？”沒(méi)有太多的猶豫，我笑著回答:“企業(yè)為我提供食物、衣服和培訓(xùn)，給我附能，讓我從一個(gè)懵懂的大學(xué)生成長(zhǎng)為專業(yè)的項(xiàng)目采購(gòu)主管。是我的收入公司的時(shí)候了?！?/p>

在過(guò)去的20年里，服裝公司從無(wú)到有，業(yè)務(wù)從國(guó)內(nèi)發(fā)展到海外。目前，服裝公司主要從事項(xiàng)目采購(gòu)服務(wù)、貿(mào)易、招標(biāo)服務(wù)和倉(cāng)儲(chǔ)物流服務(wù)四大業(yè)務(wù)。最重要的是，服裝公司一直是管道局項(xiàng)目材料設(shè)備供應(yīng)最有力的保障。

從管道開(kāi)始，不僅僅是管道。今年是管道局50周年，也是從傳統(tǒng)化石能源向綠色新能源轉(zhuǎn)變的一年。新型能源市場(chǎng)日新月異，剩下的時(shí)間已經(jīng)不多了。幸好我們已經(jīng)在CCUS、液化天然氣、氫能、光伏等行業(yè)邁出了堅(jiān)實(shí)的一步。將來(lái)還有更多的機(jī)會(huì)等待我們。在我演講的最后，我呼吁所有的管路人，讓我們站在一起，迎接困難和挑戰(zhàn)，共同迎接更加光明的未來(lái)！
