This is Tanzania, 18,259 km away from China where I worked.

Today, we'll take a look at our "half a world away" Africa home.

I worked as a translator in CPP EACOP project.

Hello! Behind me is the canteen of MCPY 15. It is very bright and spacious, right? And it can serve two hundred people at the same time.

Although the camp is beautiful and gorgeous, during the first stage of construction, we are facing a lot of difficulties and obstacles.

This is our first camp in LOT 3, the number one camp. Second, we are the first team to start the construction work. Third, we are the first team achieving the goal to live in the camp. All of you have done a wonderful job. And I also believe that you will be the first to start the pipeline part.

We should be the first and be the best，as the slogan says above. OK?

The 1539km long EACOP project is the most essential project in Africa, carrying the hopes and dreams of both Uganda and Tanzania, and witnessing the deep friendship between China and African countries in the Belt and Road Initiative.

It started in September 2023. All the project staff overcame obstacles such as the scarcity of local materials which is also expensive; social independence on the poor conditions, climate changes which can cause trouble for transportation; and other unfavorable factors. So we arranged the human resources and organized the construction resources rationally. Finally, we built such a scientifically planned, completely resourced camp.

雖然我身后的項(xiàng)目基地很漂亮，但是在施工初期，卻面臨著許多困難和阻力。

LOT3標(biāo)段由第一管道公司施工，是第一管道公司施工。第二個(gè)是指第一管道公司團(tuán)隊(duì)的第一個(gè)基地建設(shè)。第三個(gè)是指第一個(gè)進(jìn)入營地的員工也是第一管道公司的施工員工。所以項(xiàng)目領(lǐng)導(dǎo)夸我們做得很好，希望第一管道公司的基地建設(shè)率先實(shí)現(xiàn)進(jìn)入條件。

這條東非石油輸出管道，總長度1539公里，是非洲的重點(diǎn)工程，承載著烏干達(dá)和坦桑尼亞人民的希望和夢(mèng)想，見證著中非之間“一帶一路”合作的深厚友誼。

2023年9月，東非石油工程開工，工程人員克服了當(dāng)?shù)匚镔Y短缺，價(jià)格昂貴。 、項(xiàng)目部科學(xué)安排了人員配備和施工流程，最終建成了科學(xué)規(guī)劃、配套齊全的海外基地，取決于社會(huì)條件差、氣候多變導(dǎo)致的路況運(yùn)輸差等不利因素。
